POTLUCK dinner at 6:30pm
and the movie will start at 7:20pm

The Movie – We are going for a great old classic this time, sure to elicit some debate/discussion--from the middle 60's 'ZORBA the GREEK'.  This was 'the great-consciousness-raiser' for me, at university--because the lead character lays out an extended set-of-rules for how Men Must treat Women; and it also has very provocative scenes about how women treat each other, and about the grief-behaviour of people when they are dealing with the dying of one of them.
Winner of several Academy Awards, including Best Picture of the Year...and I believe Best Actor for lead Anthony Quinn.  Also starring Alan Bates and our own Lila Kedrova, who won best Supporting Actress.
I look forward to seeing you-all ... and please bring a friend!
Gary.
