The Chase Ward Trio is a project dedicated to the art of storytelling and improvisation. Made up of three friends all with a shared passion for live performance, the trio makes sure that each show is different from the last. The Trio consists of Edmonton-born composer and Arranger, Simon Williams (Piano), and Victoria's very own Josh Warren (Bass) & Chase Ward (Drums). Playing a mixture of Latin, Brazilian and Straight Ahead Jazz, along with elements of contemporary Fusion, The Chase Ward Trio has a huge catalogue of original music draw from, ensuring an engaging and dynamic show each time.
Welcome to Tuesday Night Jazz, where musical excellence and passion for the arts converge. As part of our mandate, we proudly celebrate the rich tapestry of talent within our city, including seasoned senior artists whose brilliance knows no bounds.
But our commitment to the musical ecosystem goes beyond honoring established talent. We believe in nurturing the next generation of artists, guiding them along their creative journey.

With the support of mentors, these budding artists have the opportunity to shine on our stage, fostering growth and innovation in our vibrant community. Join us as we champion the spirit of mentorship and musical exploration.
As the great bassist, mentor and educator John Clayton has often said: "I'm doing it for you because someone did it for me, and you will do it for the next person."
