What’s New

Offering to the Public since September 2024 monthly (excluding December). Over five months, we have provided sessions to 16 receivers. We currently have sessions at 1 pm and 2 pm, and due to increased interest, we plan to expand to three receivers per time slot starting in March. Gratitude to Sandy Gerbrecht, our Coordinator extraordinaire.

Offering Distance Healing upon request, including for a receiver in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Soaking Prayer is being offered monthly on the last Sunday after the service. We are grateful to have Jamie Waters play instrumental music on the piano during these sessions, enhancing the healing experience for both receivers and practitioners. We invite congregants to to embrace this monthly moment of pause and receive.

We will add an extra Soaking Prayer offering in April for Palm Sunday.

Our Ministry was featured in the Healing Pathway Society Newsletter on April 1, 2024, in an article titled "A Joy in Accompaniment" by Jannice Foreman. Jannice has been instrumental in mentoring and supporting our various HP activities, including Workshops, Practice Group, Offering to the Public at James Bay United Church.

Monthly Practice Group meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month having 7-10 HP Practitioners come together to learn and practice HP techniques, building confidence and community within our Ministry.

Gratitude to the ongoing help from Candis, Jackie, and Zunaira for their ongoing support in communicating our many activities.

The introduction of e-transfer payments for our workshops, alongside Jackie’s management of financial records, has greatly streamlined our financial reporting to the HP Society.

Heartfelt thank you to all the bakers and volunteers who help out at our Workshops. We so appreciate you.
