This Sunday This second Sunday in the Season of Epiphany we encounter the story of Jesus at the Jordan River. He, along with others in the crowd, is wading into the water for baptism ... a ritual to mark a turning, a conversion, a letting go and a rising up into a new direction, a new day. Why Jesus, who comes to embody this new direction, would himself be baptised offers us yet another glimpse of that nature of Love’s way. Not only will we reflect on the story, but we’ll gather around the font to celebrate the baptism of Luka Luciano Michael Lorenzo, and have the opportunity to offer ourselves, to welcome Love’s powerful presence to be at work in us.

For those who are joining online, you may wish to include a bowl of water as you prepare your space for our gathering.
