Bring your favourite potluck dish, make new friends as we share a meal and conversation and then stay for a great movie time together. Simple time together of human connection in a seemingly more and more disconnected world. These evenings are truly a delight. See you on Saturday August 3rd in the church's lower hall.
Our movie choices over this summer are taken from the 'remarkable true-stories' catalogue:
Saturday August 3rd 'Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot' is a comedy-drama about a young man, seriously-handicapped after an auto-accident, who found his way, through an outrageous sense of humour, into a rich life. He became one of the eminent cartoonists at 'The New Yorker' in the l970s-'80s.
