Good afternoon, James Bay United Church,

Did you know that the Window Wanderland event this weekend is making it's Canadian debut right here in James Bay?  Among the windows to wonder at in the neighbourhood will be our own, in the Thrift Shop and the sanctuary.  More information is available about the event and a walking route.  Hopefully your winter woolies aren't too deeply packed away.  Saturday and Sunday evenings should be two great opportunities to encounter lots of neighbours out and about enjoying!

Saturday night will also see folks out on our city streets for the 'Coldest Night in the Year' fundraising event for the Mustard Seed and Our Place ministries.  Thanks to Jacquie and Jeff, Helen and Jerry we have a James Bay United Team signed up for the walk.  All they need now are people to sponsor them in their effort to be part of the fundraising.  If you would like to lend your support to them, you can make a donation on-line.  Thank you Jacquie, Jeff, Helen and Jerry for your part in helping us to be part of making good things happen.

This Sunday will be an experience of our worship and work as one integrated whole as we weave the elements of our AGM through our worship.  The planning for that is now complete, and I'm forseeing a rich and delightful morning in store. If you haven't already had a look at the Annual Report you can find it here.  All we need now is for us to show up with open hearts and a readiness to engage.  It will be good to see you there.

Grace and Peace,

Karen
